In the case of mortgages, an offer letter is issued to the customer to be given to the bank he/ she is applying for the mortgage from.
Once the financial house or bank agrees to give the customer the mortgage facility, a documentation fee ( which will be stated in the offer letter) shall be paid by the customer to facilitate documentation which will be presented to the bank for onward processing
There are now a growing number of financial institutions in Ghana (Stanbic bank and Ghana Home Loans) which have available mortgage finance schemes for resident and non-resident Ghanaians that you may wish to explore.
